With 2008-2009, we close the first decade of the new millennium... let's look at the emerging values for the cultural trends of the next. The arrangement of the principal cultural trends of the first decade, the "Neo-Humanistic" decade, was already visible at the end of the 90's, with the emergence of values which represented the maturation and the spreading of the minimalist aesthetic, the creative approach which reflected on the human existence. These values then underwent a sudden acceleration from 2001, with the falling of the Twin Towers. One must remember that the preceding decade, the 90's, were similar-as shown by the acceleration of events and thoughts with regards to another historical fall: the Berlin Wall ('89).

Today we recognise in the Triad, God-Nature-Man, the poles of future possible configurations (not only aesthetic) which our system may adopt. These values and the dynamic balances which continuously procreate among those which guide the evolution of our world's creativity, culture, social and economic phenomena.
The role of the demiurge is attributed to Science, a strong organiser which occupies itself with the magical-religious activity of reconciling man with nature, god and therefore with the rest of mankind, of re-stabilising the bridge between this world and the one beyond, of conceiving of other possible worlds and opening the way of accessing them, of taking us along the Road of Salvation. Trends

These three poles enter with various titles and decisively inform more or less all the trends described in this article. Let's have a quick look at the top 9 trends:

The Monarchy: a sense of fascination for the aristocracy and the regal persists in populations and the desire to recognise a centre of power and stability capable of governing the agonising fluidity of the present with rapidity and steadiness. In particular, one tends to attribute better capacity to women in control.

Small Communities are growing: communities are being created everywhere possible. The new drifts of new global culture is also the strongest trend. The community seems to be the new minimum social unit, which exhibits security and peace and the future of coming generations.

Fermenting fashionista's: from one angle, our world seems to have ruined ethical values and to reward socially obscene behaviour, providing that it is completed in the name of gratuitous enrichment. On the other hand, the Eco-Ego takes up the challenge of guiding fashion victims to show ecologically virtuous behaviours.

Look at the world!: man seems to have seen nature which surrounds him with amazement and to admire in silence the beauty which remains, struggling with the taste of our limitations. In parallel to this, the utopia of returning to a primitive dimension takes force, and the search for coherent economic and political configuration, where all turns in the middle of the restoration of the native man-nature relationship.

Cultural Collisions: cultures lock horns and underpin each other like drifting continents. One runs rapidly through the world of cultural stratification's with the superimposition of trust, traditions and religions, alongside the conflicts which the movement of enormous human masses tends to trigger.

Mechanical anatomy: the sensation of living, tragically, spreads in populations, in a surreal world of which it is impossible to perceive the dynamics, the rules, distinguish facts from artefacts. Around us, faces are grotesque, monstrously deformed from plastic surgery. The perishable nature of the human body is dissimulated through the substitution of components, through a future man of which Oskar Pistorius seems to prefigure the semblance's.

What a wonderful world! Tendenze

Fear? Laugh!: the fears which terrify some are ridiculous for others, and that which to some appears monstrous, for others is the grotesque mask of comic life. But the need (and necessity) remain to avoid the pain of daily life. One laughs at surgery, and illness, at crowds and war. And political correctness is banished to the sidelines!

Tech Creation: Sofia is the new technology which has been asked to discover the secrets of nature and divinity, to discover new worlds and transform them into new paradises. And also to arrive irrefutably to the ultimate truth, reassembling therefore the infinite occasions of cultural and religious meetings. Necessary conditions for the Salvation of the Planet from Humanity's errors.

Tyranny and War: The world turns in a diffuse Cold War climate, in which the stagnation of ideals opens to exquisitely economical conflicts, and sometimes, to imperialism and to the hardest tyrannies: USA vs Russia, Russia vs ex Soviet Union countries, Europe vs china, China vs its neighbours....
The new republics, born in the ashes of the Soviet Empire, and the new dictators have the same contemporary image, sometimes awkward and bestial, the absolute monarchs of this time.
